GTA VI Trailer 2 Breaks Records

After more than a year of waiting since the first trailer, Trailer 2 gave players a much deeper look at Rockstar's next open-world game.

The trailer expanded on Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, introduced more characters and locations, and showed considerably more of the world surrounding Vice City.

It also provided a clearer look at the scale, atmosphere and visual ambition of GTA VI.

Jason and Lucia were at the centre of Trailer 2.

The footage showed the pair spending time together, travelling across Leonida and becoming increasingly involved in criminal activity.

Their relationship appeared to be one of the most important parts of the game's story.

Trailer 2 remains one of the defining GTA VI reveals.

It transformed the public understanding of the game by showing a much larger world, a deeper relationship between its protagonists and a huge range of characters and environments.

It also established the enormous scale of interest surrounding GTA VI.

Since then, Rockstar has continued revealing information about the game, including its release date, pricing, music and gameplay.

Grand Theft Auto VI is currently scheduled to release on 19 November 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

Trailer 2 has now been followed by the Extended Look and Rockstar's continuing promotional campaign.

With launch approaching, further official information may still be revealed before players finally enter Leonida for themselves.

For now, Trailer 2 remains one of the most important pieces of GTA VI's pre-release history.
